Daft Punk Set To Break UK Chart History


With Daft Punk’s highly-anticipated album Random Access Memories set to hit shelves next week, projections are currently forecasting that the LP is on track to break Oasis’ record for fasting selling album in UK history, according to Music Week. Oasis’ 1997 album Be Here Now sold 650,000 in its first week of sales, and already Random Access Memories has landed the highest number of pre-sales for any dance album ever on Amazon. Daft Punk’s single “Get Lucky” has already sold more than 500,000 copies, landing it at the top of the Official UK Singles Charts for four straight weeks.
