Audi has debuted the Sport quattro concept ahead of an in-the-flesh unveiling at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. The concept pays homage to the now 30 years old Audi Quattro rally car and builds upon the styling cues of the Audi Quattro concept seen a few years ago. Powering the Sport quattro concept is a hybrid powertrain consisting of a twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor which combine to produce 700 horsepower. All that power translates to a 0-62 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 189 mph. Even with all that performance, the Sport quattro will still do a frugal 94 miles per gallon and can go 31 miles on electricity alone.
