Realism has been around in the art realm for centuries, but when someone does it justice, it’s always worth pointing out. This is the case for Leah Giberson‘s hyperrealistic paintings of modern suburban life. Regardless of the common subjects — which in a sense adds to the photographic effect of something familiar — Giberson was able to capture every detail and aspect which resulted in an outstanding portrayal of still life; realism in its quintessential form.
